Resurgence of the Man Bun.

Why good morning fellow gorgeouses!  You know, it occurred to me this morning as I swept my sleep and knot ridden hair out of my face that my hair is indeed long and super clean and soft ~ I love my hair after a good shampooing and conditioning.  Am I right?  It then struck me like a fly right in the eye.  Why not talk about a new man hair trend to bring in the new year?

So, we all know what the major trend was last year.  The "Man Bun" or as some like to call it the "Mun".   Now, I was definitely guilty of this trend, and still am.  It would be a shame to chop this hair off after so much care and attention went into growing my hair out into the fabulousness that it is today.  It did take quite some time to grow my hair from the sad little hair ball that sat directly on top of my head to the small hair bun that I can now pull behind my head.  RESULTS!!!  But seriously though...the question then becomes "what to do?"  Well, I foresee the Man Braid as the next logical step in men's hair trends of 2016. Now it may sound like I have gone crazy and off the deep end, and yes I have, but I'm not just talking about corn rolls but an actual braid in a more delicate sense.  Here, let me show you.

This is my particular favorite style, like a loose french braid.

I just love this new trend that is coming in.  Or you could even try a corn roll with a twist...

It would seem that the possibilities are endless, because they are!  My particular favorite is when you start mixing different colors with the man bun.  Last year it was the silver and grey tones.  I don't really see this trend going away.  But I actually see adding to the madness with ombre effects. I mean, just a quick search on pinterest.com of men's hair color will turn um countless results.  And mixing this with braids.  Yes Please!

My favorite color combo which I will be following will be either dark blue/purple roots with silver/grey tips.  This ombre will definitely be trending with me and I will surely keep you all posted as this look comes together.  The only thing with me is I keep the sides of my head shaved so I have got my own style going on and that is how I like it!

Yours truly.

Each day my hair gets longer, duh, and each day I move towards my hair goals.  I leave you this fine Sunday morning as I listen to the Duchess soundtrack.  Until next time.  Stay inspired with you hair.

New Beginnings

Why hello there!

I hope you are finding my new, but at this point in time, minimal website fascinating and interesting!   I know that I have created a multitude of websites in the past and have not really followed up on them but I can assure you that this website is going to be different!

First and foremost, I would like to introduce myself.  My name is Bryan Vaughn and I'm the creative director for my fashion design label Bryan VaughnBerry or BVB.  I'm currently enrolled as a senior at the San Diego Art Institute and expect to graduate with my Bachelors of Fine Arts in Fashion Design in the summer of 2016.  I am so excited to announce myself as a fashion designer and look forward to sharing my journey with you all!

With New Years Eve upon us I have taken the liberty to launch myself officially as Bryan VaughnBerry.  I have found myself as a designer and this sense of self will only grow stronger as time passes.  The past few weeks have been my holiday break and I have been trying to relax but fortunately for me I see no sense of relaxation on the horizon.  I am currently working on a menswear collect that I will release in the next two to three months and am very eager to share these latest designs with you.  One thing that I can say is that it is a Fall/Winter collection for 2017.  Stay tuned for that.

I'm going to conclude this very first blog post by stating that the purpose of this website is to keep you all informed on the latest and greatest with me and the latest fashions.  If you have any questions, comments, concerns, or suggestion I am very open to any and all!  Please do not hesitate to contact me.  Information is on the contact page.

Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by my new website and I look forward to seeing you all in 2016!  HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
